Welcome to Chubby Cheeks, trading as Hammykins® (“Website”). Our primary domain is chubbycheekshamsterfood.co.uk, and our new domain hammykins.co.uk is active and redirects here to ensure uninterrupted access. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Website.

2. Rebranding Notice
We are currently rebranding from Chubby Cheeks to Hammykins® (a registered trademark). During this transition:

  • Our original and primary domain, chubbycheekshamsterfood.co.uk, remains live to avoid disruption.

  • You can also access us via hammykins.co.uk, which redirects to chubbycheekshamsterfood.co.uk for uninterrupted access.

3. Products and Services
We offer hamster food, accessories, and related products. All descriptions and prices include VAT and are subject to change without notice. Shipping and processing times are detailed on our Shipping and Returns page. We are not responsible for delays or inaccuracies in product colors shown on your screen. Gift cards are valid for 18 months from the date of purchase. If a gift card expires before it is redeemed, please contact us at support@hammykins.co.uk. We may, at our discretion, offer a one-time extension of up to one month, depending on the circumstances.​

4. Orders, Subscriptions, and Payments

4.1. Orders and Subscriptions

You can place orders for our Products, including subscription services, via the Website. Subscriptions allow you to select an interval for food delivery. You may cancel, pause, or change your subscription by contacting us via the chat feature or email.

 

4.2. Payments

Payment options include Wix Payments (cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay) and PayPal. We require full payment before dispatch. We reserve the right to delay dispatch until PayPal confirms the payment.

4.3. Order Acceptance and Cancellation

Placing an order does not create a binding agreement. Orders are only accepted once they have been dispatched. We reserve the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch for reasons including, but not limited to payment failure, suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock unavailability or breach of our Terms. If we cancel your order, you will be notified and refunded in full.

5. Shipping, Returns, and Refunds
Shipping details are available here. Customers have 14 days to request a return if the product is unused and in its original packaging. Refunds are issued to the original payment method after we inspect the return. Find our full refund/replacement policy here.

 

6. Care Guide and Advice Disclaimer
We provide a hamster care guide based on current accepted practices within the hamster community. This advice is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. We are not liable for any injury or damage resulting from following this advice.

Infographics on our Website are free to download and share. However, we are not responsible for any third-party use of this content once shared.

8. Customer Reviews

8.1. Eligibility and Submission
You may submit one review per purchase of a bona fide product (“Verified Purchase”), and reviews are limited to customers who have actually purchased the item through our Website.

 

8.2. License to Use Reviews
By submitting a review, you grant Hammykins® a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the review in any media.

 

8.3. Genuineness and Lawful Content
Reviews must reflect your honest and genuine experience; they must not contain false, misleading, or defamatory statements.

 

8.4. Moderation and Grounds for Removal
All reviews are checked before being published. We reserve the right to refuse to publish, or remove any review that:

  • Contains defamatory, harassing, abusive, or threatening language;

  • Includes hate speech, obscene, profane, or sexually explicit content;

  • Is spam, advertising, or unrelated to the product;

  • Contains untrue or unverifiable statements that could mislead other customers.

8.5. Review Time Frame
Reviews must be submitted within 6 months of receiving your order. We reserve the right to remove reviews submitted after this period if they are no longer relevant to the product or service, particularly if the product has changed or is no longer offered. This helps us ensure reviews remain accurate and useful to future customers.

We will not remove reviews merely because they are negative or critical; decisions to remove content are made solely based on the criteria above, in accordance with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations and the Online Safety Act 2023.

We may, at our discretion, publish official replies to customer reviews in order to address concerns, provide clarifications, or correct inaccuracies in the review. All replies will be clearly labelled as official responses from Hammykins® and will not alter the original content of the review.
